Riccione Resources, the Recruitment Firm with 27 years of experience representing technology firms, proudly announces multiple openings for Software Engineer with a Dallas area company in the financial industry.  Our client is a division of a very successful and growing fortune 500 firm offering:  a long-term opportunity, career growth upwards and laterally within the organization, high retention work environment, good mix of creativity, excellent comp plan and benefits.

Currently a new team is being formed at this location with 2 openings for a total of 6 developers, with plans to possibly grow larger over time.  This group will be doing a mix of new development as well as application maintenance.  Working directly with business users will also be a requirement for these roles, so there will be a lot of opportunity to be creative and drive the technical solution accordingly.  Business functions include performing due diligence on transactions, document (collateral) oversight, trading desk extension - P&L statement, tape cracking, trade execution and asset management.  Loan operations process payments and settle transactions for residential, commercial loans and warehouse lines.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand current business flows and functionality
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects from requirements to implementation.
• Should be able to take up development work on complex components.
• Ability to communicate with end users across all business functions, provide day to day and EOD systems support
• Ability to work across diverse technologies primarily C# .net, WinForms
• Ability to participate and possibly coordinate design and code reviews
• Ability to coordinate work across teams
• Ability to follow existing standards and architecture

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science or related
• 2-6 years of software development experience
• Strong experience in C# and .net
• Experience working n-tiers
• Knowledge of SQL
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Plusses:

• Financial background, experience in Mortgage loans platform
• Experience with distributed systems and message-oriented middleware concepts
• Specific experience in Sybase IQ
