Our client has been in business for 23 years, although considered a small company (less than 50 people, 10 in software development), they are profitable, stable and in a significant growth mode.  They have created a niche market by using technology to deliver excellent customer service while delivering quality results.  They are currently in a total software redevelopment plan to take their products and services to the next level.  This will provide them with an advantage over competitors in the marketplace.

Their customer base is diversified reducing their dependence on one industry, with clients in the following sectors:  financial services, insurance, telecom, retail, distribution, manufacturing and health care.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Director of New Systems Development and be in a technical leadership 'Hands On" position on new project development activities:

• Taking business concepts from upper management and converting into technical specifications
• Working with the Software Development team (5+) to deliver solutions for the business
• Project management of area to reach the objectives
• Be a resource in determining the overall architecture
• Potential debugging, mentoring and guiding.
• "Hands On" software development through SDLC, with some architecting.

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

You must have strong communications skills, and have that "Ownership Mentality."  Other skills needed are the following:

• Technical Lead and Sr. level software development skills
• Experience and ability to take business concepts to technical specs.
• Experience and ability to oversee project through SDLC
• .net, C#, SQL Server
• OO skills
• Experience in delivery of multi-tiered solutions
• Ability to work in a less structured environment
• Go-getter, motivated, team player

Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Total Compensation:

• Salary of 80k-90k
• Profit Sharing (10%-15% of salary)
• 401K Match (3%)
